Six Sentence Sunday 8/28

Today's snippet comes from Dima's battle with the tiger/wolf hybrid. We join this fight already in progress.

I pushed her off. Moved to the edge of the woods as she darted into the trees. Her whimpering echoed, but suddenly, the whimpering stopped, replaced by an irate growl. When she emerged again, she seethed. Teeth gleamed in moonlight. Blood dripped from just below her eye.
