I LOVE HAVING WRITER FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to everyone who made last year bearable, and whose friendships will make this year my best ever. I love having writer friends because people in my normal life don't get it, you know? Writers are an obsessive breed, but we're fun and we're creative, and most importantly, we're supportive of our writer brothers and sisters. Critiques and confidence boosts, sanity, hope, faith, love. Writers are the best group EVER.

To my published friends, CONGRATS. You've proven that hard work, perseverance, and determination (and lots of chocolate, twizzlers, and perhaps some wine) really do pay off. I'm so happy, honored, and humbled to be in any way associated with you.

To my agented friends, CONGRATS. You've jumped one of the biggest hurdles on Query Road. Now you get to make that grand turn onto Publication Boulevard. I look forward to the day you tweet, email or scream from the rooftops that your manuscript has a publishing home. Best of luck. I can't wait to read your success stories on QT ;) And I'm thankful for the ones who've included me on their journeys.

To my soon-to-be-agented/published friends, You will get there. You are strong, talented and capable. Query Road is a difficult journey filled with doubt and rejections, but you will soon get to Publication Boulevard. Believe in your stories and believe in yourselves. We'll get through this together.
