I did, however, want to leave you with a little nugget of knowledge/encouragement.
I know that, at one point or another, we all have to deal with our fears. Right now, mine is "fear of querying super-amazing agents because they'll probably say no" (my 'faith in yourself' post will have to wait for another time). And as I was bemoaning my fears in tweet form, a fantastic author sent me this link that I believe would benefit all of us, regardless of where we are in our journey. You don't have to worry about super-amazing agents actually saying no! Most of them have gone to a "no response" policy ;o)
LMAO Phoenix! I guess you're right. So what am I afraid of, never hearing from them? Bah. GThat happens all the time.
Chris, thanks for the encouragement. I'm almost done with my synopsis, which I'm hoping our dear Phoenix will rip to shreds and explain how I did it wrong, lol. And then I'll revisit my query since I don't even remember what it says, and begin the process again. Woo. Hoo. :D
I just read a post on this at Mother. Write. (Repeat). and it was great. Hang in there. We are all plagued by this. But you aren't going to get hit by lightning if you aren't standing out in the rain, right?
