MANic Monday

Guess who totally balked on setting up MANic Monday? MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Sorry. Just kinda spaced over the weekend. This whole lack of a laptop thing is really cramping my style, yo.

Onward to today's offering: Castiel from CW's Supernatural.

Now, I don't watch the show, but I know oodles of people who do. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND, yeah. Castiel's usually the talk (although Dean and Sam are yummy too). Of course, while compiling this post, I definitely understand why.

Castiel is an angel. Not a Touched by an Angel kind of angel, though. Not a helpful guardian angel or a benevolent angel who wants to help mankind. Castiel says his allegiance is to Heaven and that's about it. He helps Sam and Dean because "God has work for them." However, he does start to feel an attachment to Dean, and that's where Castiel's trouble comes through a sort of "demotion."

Unsurprisingly, Castiel has a few powers which come in handy, most notably his insta-death touch, lethal to demons. And since Dean and Sam are always doing something stupid (like getting stuck in Hell; really, Dean?), no doubt those various abilities will come in handy.

But I must say, if ever I need angelic interference, I hope he looks like this guy....

And now, for picture spammage ;)

***Dude, I really need to start watching this show...*

Hey, Dean went to Hell to save Sam's life. Granted, it was a dumb decision, but it honestly runs in the family.

You really, really should start watching the show. It's awesome. And I got way too interested in this post when I saw the Cas picture attached. I love me some Castiel.

Honestly, of all of it though, my favorite aspect of Cas is that he just doesn't get it. He's a good guy (I'm overlooking his misbehavior in late Season 6/ early Season 7 to say that), but when he's surrounded by humans, he's, in a lot of ways, a fish out of water. It's hilarious. And adorable. And, oh my, he's yummy.

And it's also hilarious how demanding a lot of people are that he returns to the show... He has some devoted fans, no doubt.

YAY! I love Manic Monday and finding about all these fantastic men. It seems there is now another very good reason for me to check out Supernatural.

Seriously? You don't watch Supernatural?

*Chalking you down a notch in my esteem catalog - I expect you to rectify that post-haste. But start at the beginning - you need the story arc. Only Cas doesn't show up till season 3 or 4? Do you get TNT? They're running 2 eps a day in the mornings.*

Hehe. The GoogleAd at the bottom of the comments post is 15% off Supernatural T-shirts at Cafe Press. So we get some first-season Sam and Dean eye-candy too.

Awww, Phoenix, come on! I've seen a few episodes, at least :-D I'll have to figure out netflix or record with my wonderful (read: incredibly crappy) DVR.

Connie, I should've had you do this post :P God knows how much you love your procrastination LOL.

Lisa, apparently gorgeous men abound on Supernatural. We're behind. And not in a fun way.

Oh, you know it! Not to mention I have become quite the expert. Wait... I guess I mentioned it...

Yeah, Cas doesn't show up until the first episode of Season 4, and you have to wait almost the whole hour for him to show up. I am not ashamed that I know that.
