I (heart) Dogs blogfest ***UPDATE***

Hey guys, rescue group Pawsibilities is hosting a blog tour highlighting rescue dogs and the owners who love them. I'm planning on participating (and this does run concurrent with the A Touch AWESOME blogfest for about a month, so you guys will have lots to read!), and I hope you guys will too.

If anyone doesn't know, shelter dogs are incredibly close to my heart, and I'm a HUGE fan of adopting vs. buying from a pet store for a variety of reasons. So I'm certainly looking forward to this.

For more information, click here.

***UPDATE*** I'm going to enter every person who leaves a comment on this post AND participates in the blogfest into a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card or a $25 donation to the shelter of your choice. I'll check with Landra and have the drawing on Feb 20th, the day the blogfest starts.***

I have two rescue dogs...one we adopted from a rescue group (the new puppy...O. M. G.) and one who adopted us...she just kind of showed up one weekend and wouldn't go away. Love them both to death!

Awwww! When I was growing up, most of our dogs just showed up. Then we started adopting. We almost always take in a stray if we can and the other dogs are accepting.

I hope you'll participate :)

I'm participating in the blogfest!!!

At first I was going to say you don't have to enter me in the contest, then decided yes, please do enter me. But if my name is drawn, please donate the gift card (or like amount) to the rescue org of your choice.

Kudos to everyone who works for animals and/or who adopts them into their homes!

Girlygirl, I did end up emailing Budweiser and got a really nice response back. Landra's, I think, working that angle and a few others.

Elizabeth, you should join us! It'll be fun and it's for a great cause.
