Six Sentence Sunday 1/15

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey y'all! I'm glad you're spending part of your Sunday with meeeeeeeeee. Hopefully it's worth your while.

To visit my fellow Sixers (who are DEFINITELY worth your while) visit the official site.

For hours afterward I tried to figure it out. What did she mean? The wheel of frustration kept turning as I stared into the pond, facing myself head-on for the first time since I awoke. My eyes, large blue cat eyes, swam with the emotions that swam in the eyes of a human. They cried human tears, expressed human grief, betrayed human fears. I forced myself to stare into my face because I wanted to remember what it meant to be human.

I like the feel of this a lot. My only thought would be to not repeat "swam". Otherwise, the moment has great atmosphere.

A very well written, telling six. The character's sadness and confusion shines through your words. Nicely done.

Thanks everyone :) I tried really hard to avoid her becoming melodramatic...it was difficult.
