Welcome back to Six Sentence Sunday! I took a long hiatus to work on some projects (aka procrastinate), but I'm back, ladies and gentlemen. Hopefully with something worthwhile. As always, don't forget to check out the Six Sunday crew here.
I started a SFR while I was gone, but I have no idea what the eff I'm doing. So, for your reading pleasure, I give you six sentences from Cyber.
Cyber stared through the glass separating her from millions of stars, the fingers of her left hand tingling to touch them, to hold them, to never let them go. Each time she stood on the observation deck, she vainly made wishes on each one, millions of wishes unanswered and millions more still to be made. She balled her hand into a fist and slammed it against the thick window. The hum of the engines carried through the walls and into her skin.
It’d been months since Kalilah had become sick, but the passing of time in space made it seem like her little sister had been lying in the med bay for years. Unreal that it’d only been two years since her own accident.

Hi. I like how you portray her frustration. I always enjoy a new SF story :) ~Marcia/Owllady
Thanks, Marcia! This is my first SF space story, so I'm very excited about it.
Oh wow, what a great set up!
Welcome back. You say so much in your snippet: past present and future
I can feel her frustration. Loved the line about her millions of wishes!
Wow. Very powerful and visual. Great job.
Wow, so emotionally intense. I want more!!! :)
Beautiful--her thoughts, descriptions and everything. Thanks.
Nice scene setter. It tells us a lot about both her personality and her situation.
Awesomesauce as usual. I think you know exactly what you're doing. You just don't trust yourself yet... but for the record I trust you. :) Happy Sundog and thanks for the snippet.
Can really feel her frustration, and intrigued about her accident.
